AffiliateWP Direct Link Tracking changes how affiliate referrals are detected. Instead of requiring affiliates to use specially formatted affiliate links with tracking parameters, this addon credits referrals when visitors arrive from an affiliate's registered website. The affiliate simply links to your site normally, and the system tracks the referral through HTTP referrer data.

How It Works

Affiliates register their website URLs in their AffiliateWP account. When a visitor clicks a standard link on the affiliate's site and arrives at your store, the addon checks the referring URL against registered affiliate domains. If the referrer matches, the visit is attributed to that affiliate.
