AffiliateWP Sign Up Bonus adds an automatic one-time bonus reward for newly registered affiliates in your program. When a new affiliate is approved, the addon creates a bonus referral in their account with a configurable amount, giving immediate financial incentive for joining your affiliate network.

Core Functionality

• Automatic bonus credit: A configurable bonus amount is automatically added as a referral to each new affiliate account upon approval, requiring no manual intervention.
• Configurable bonus amount: Set any dollar amount as the signup bonus through the AffiliateWP settings panel. The amount applies uniformly to all new affiliates.
• Approval-based triggering: The bonus is awarded when an affiliate is approved, not at registration. This means manually reviewed applications only receive the bonus after admin approval.
• Standard payout integration: Bonus amounts appear as referrals in the affiliate dashboard and are included in regular payout cycles alongside earned commissions.

Practical Considerations

The bonus amount is the same for all affiliates; there is no tiered or conditional bonus structure. The addon does not include expiration dates, minimum activity requirements, or clawback mechanisms for the bonus. If you need to prevent abuse from signup-only affiliates who never generate referrals, you would need to manage that through manual review of affiliate applications before approval.
